### Data Inputs

Our AI engine ingests high-quality, verified data from multiple layers:

* **UAE National MRV System (MoCCAE):** The gold standard for national climate data.
* **Project-level IoT data:** Real-time energy, water, and waste data streamed from project sensors.
* **ESG reports, audits, and environmental disclosures:** Structured and unstructured documents from project owners.
* **Satellite imagery:** For independent, remote validation of large-scale projects (e.g., solar farm size, agricultural health).

### Verification Steps

The verification protocol is a multi-layered check:

1. **Third-party auditing** (DNV, SGS): Initial physical and documentation verification.
2. **AI anomaly detection:** Predictive Risk Engine flags inconsistencies or manipulated data.
3. **Cross-check with MRV data:** Ensures alignment with national reporting standards.
4. **Quarterly re-verification cycles:** Maintaining ongoing data quality and impact tracking.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ecovest.gitbook.io/ecovest/10.-data-sources-and-verification-protocol.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
